Children also explored properties of clay soil like being sticky, more on water retention which is needed to cast an idol. While making idols they also had to deal with ratio and proportion logistics. Thus tried to connect science and maths in day to day life. Being the first ever experience of crafting Ganesh idol they were so engrossed, that hardly did anyone realise they were sitting glued in one place for 2 hours.
